Science & Origin of Zebra Calcite

Zebra Calcite, also known as Raw Phantom Calcite, is a recently unearthed variety of calcite. It is a calcium carbonate mineral and one of Earth’s most common stones. However, this extremely unique variation has only been found within the last few years in Mexico (not to be confused with the Zebra Stone from Western Australia). It exhibits banding patterns throughout the stone which is reminiscent of a Zebra’s stripes. It may even contain traces of Aragonite.

Much like the stone itself, Zebra Calcite exhibits endless transformational energies that are still being produced by the crystal today.
