Collection: Ammonite

Ammonites were predatory mollusks that resembled squid. These cephalopods had eyes, tentacles, and spiral shells. They are more closely related to a living octopus, though the shells resemble that of a nautilus. Ammonites first appearing in the fossil record 240 million years ago, most recent ones being traced to 65million years.

>>>Natural ancient fossils, or Fossilized ammonites are remains of ancient aquatic mollusks, or shellfish, therefore they will have "imperfections" due to their age (over 100 million years old) this is what makes them natural, rare, unique and beautiful!<<<<
